Our Data Centres

At ServerChoice we have two purpose built, highly resilient and secure data centres, both based in Hertfordshire.

By delivering an environment with no single point of failure, we are able to achieve the highest possible uptime for our customers.

Both of our Hertfordshire data centres provide 24hr manned security, CCTV, intruder alarms and advanced access control systems, which provides an extremely secure environment for your infrastructure.

Being Green is high on our agenda

Our green data centres utilise the very latest technologies to make them extremely energy efficient.

We use Denco’s Ambicool cooling system, which was highly commended at the Cooling Industry Awards. The Ambicool system uses indirect free cooling, utilising the cold external air during the winter and colder months.

By combining this system with Minkel’s revolutionary “Cold Aisle Enclosure”, which vastly increases cooling efficiency by only cooling within the data centre enclosure and not the data hall as a whole, our cooling system is 40% more energy efficient than a traditional data centre with a hot aisle/cold aisle arrangement and no free cooling.

Location

Both of our data centres are located in Hertfordshire along the A1 corridor, each within just 30 miles of London and easily accessible from further North via the A1 motorway.
