ServerChoice are one of the first (if not THE first) companies in the UK to be compliant to the brand new v3.2 of the PCI DSS standard. This is just one example of our commitment to security and forms part of the ‘Security First’ culture that runs throughout our organisation.
PCI DSS is a vital security measure that can strongly protect personal data – and all companies that store, process or handle cardholder data, like taking credit card payments, need to be compliant with PCI. By being certified against the new v3.2, our customers can be sure that the security services they receive from us really are cutting edge. This applies to our training and consultancy services as well as our secure cloud infrastructures and, of course, our PCI-Ready cloud platforms.
What’s new in v3.2?
A few things have changed in v3.2, and it’s different depending on if you’re classed as a Merchant or as a Service Provider. We’ve even updated our Clarity on PCI Compliance White Paper to reflect the new changes. Companies only have until October 2016 to implement the changes from 3.1 to 3.2, so it’s worth making sure that you (or your PCI-compliant service providers) aren’t going to get caught out.
We’re justifiably proud of our PCI DSS v3.2 Level 1 Service Provider status, and we hope that it encourages all businesses to think seriously about security.
